| Created this thread because I always love hearing about hilarity that can ensue in D&D campaigns/game play. Crazy ways you thwarted a DM's plans by thinking of a solution he/she didn't anticipate... (As a player, pissing off a DM in that way is always fun)... What are some unique campaigns you guys have created/played?... Your favorite character creations you've ever made... Crazy intense battles you nearly survived... or, didn't survive for that matter... Share everything and anything! Go nuts!  | |

| Was running the City of the Spider Queen adventure a few years back for some friends. One of them opened the first door in the adventure and was promptly killed by the death trap. None of us were really ready for that. I'd only skimmed over the adventure (that'll teach me), so we kind of decided to just restart and pretend that didn't happen. Suddenly, the cleric cast Death Ward on that party member. What an odd bit of foresight on the part of the cleric ;-) | |

| I was running a game for a bunch of ladies where I was the only gentleman at the table. The five ladies sat me down before the game and explained that their characters were going to set up a beauty parlor. So, I threw out a bunch of what I wrote, and I wrote an entire campaign based off adventures that the learned about while dying orc hair and giving manicures to minotaurs. | |
