Does anyone else have certain movies/TV specials that they watch every year as part of holiday ritual. Unlike a lot of people, I don't watch my favorite movies over and over. I normally watch them again when I can introduce them to someone new.
That said, I watch the Uncut version of NIGHT OF THE DEMONS (the original) every Halloween.
Christmas is the bigger time. I spend Christmas Eve watching an insane amount of animated Christmas specials and episodes, especially the original HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS and my favorite Christmas horror film: SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT (the original).
Anyone else have any movies they watch every year to get them into the holiday spirit?

Growing up, it was always "A Flintsones Christmas" with me (the one where Fred and Barney have to play Santa when the real Santa gets hurt)
In my older years, it's been Die Hard and Scrooged.

Scrooged, A Christmas Story, and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation are movies that I watch during the Holidays, and usually ONLY during the Holidays. Still fun though

Until last year, I have basically hated Christmas all my adult life, but since I have been working remotely, and been able to have a tv going during the entire shift due to the miracle of closed captioning, I got back in the spirit with marathons of Christmas Story and National Lampoons over and over. So I ebayed them both last month as well as Christmas Evil and am trying to track down a cheap copy of Silent Night, Deadly Night, so me and the wife can start a new tradition of our own, since we both get stuck working the whole season and all. I also discovered a love for the Yule log broadcasts my Bell expressvu has during all December.

I celebrate Devil's Night by burning copies of the "Crow" sequels.

I'm making a go at watching "A Christmas Story 2" this week.

Is that the new one? I know there are several "sequels" but I don't think I've seen any of them.

I know Charley McMullen will agree with me when I say the best Christmas movie is Die Hard.

I think I might the only one person to never get into Gremlins. I never really saw the appeal.
